Endless Macro Hybrid Scenes
A single subject does not exist in a fixed form. Through processes of photography, duplication, transformation, and reconstruction, it shifts into different forms of image and space. The plants placed in front of the screens, along with the digital images, 3D forms, and moving images derived from them, exist within the same space under different material conditions and modes of existence.
The work explores how a single subject can repeatedly transform into different landscapes through processes of capturing and transforming plants. While living plants grow and wither within a physical environment, landscapes transformed into digital forms can be duplicated, altered, and carried into new forms. In this process, the boundaries between the original and the image, and between nature and the artificial environments reconstructed from it, gradually become indistinct.
The space functions as both a site that holds the plants and a landscape in which they continue to transform into images, forms, and movement. Nature that begins from a single scene is no longer repeated in the same form, but passes through different media and scales, transforming into new landscapes.
