<투명성 시각 풍경>, 2025
The Transparent Visual Scenes is a large-scale immersive video work based on the visual outcomes generated through the video installation work The Transparent Rendering Apparatus. Through the concept of “transparency,” Goo attempts to show the process of digital image formation in a sensual way. To this end, he uses a device to create projected light, along with video showing the resulting organic forms. The video goes beyond image reproduction to juxtapose the machine’s physical structure into visual layers, presenting a process where forms with organic vitality emerge as a result.
〈투명성 시각 풍경〉은 비디오 설치 작품인 〈투명성 렌더링 장치〉에서 생성된 시각적 결과물을 기반으로 구성한 대형 몰입형 비디오 작품이다. 작가는 ‘투명성’이라는 개념 아래, 디지털 이미지가 형성되는 과정을 감각적으로 드러내고자, 프로젝션의 빛을 생성하는 장치와 그로 인해 나타나는 유기적 형태들을 비디오로 구현한다. 이 비디오는 단순한 이미지 재생을 넘어서, 기계의 물리적 구조를 시각적 층위로 병치시키고, 그로부터 유기적인 생명감을 가진 형상들이 출현하는 과정을 함께 제시한다.
