〈The Transparent Visual Apparatus〉 is an installation that brings together, within a single device, the conditions through which an image is formed and seen. The image viewed through a screen is not simply a representation of an object, but emerges through processes of collection, transformation, and output. The work reveals these processes, along with the conditions that enable the image to become visible, within the structure.
Inside the structure, LED displays, image-generating hardware, and layers of recorded, processed, and physical scenes overlap. Through light, reflection, and transparent surfaces, each element is alternately revealed and obscured, forming a single visual environment. The image and the apparatus that produces it are presented together, without being separated.
〈투명성 시각 장치〉는 이미지가 형성되고 보이는 조건을 하나의 장치 안에 구성한 설치작품이다. 화면을 통해 보는 이미지는 대상의 단순한 재현이 아니라, 수집되고 변환되고 출력되는 여러 과정을 통해 형성된다. 작품은 이러한 과정과 이미지가 보이기 위해 작동하는 조건을 구조물 안에 드러낸다.
구조물 내부에는 LED 디스플레이, 이미지를 구동하는 하드웨어, 실제와 가상의 장면이 여러 층으로 겹쳐진다. 빛과 반사, 투명한 표면을 통해 각각의 요소는 서로 중첩되거나 가려지며 하나의 시각적 환경을 구성한다. 이미지와 이를 형성하는 장치는 분리되지 않은 상태로 함께 놓인다.
